Here are some initial (not final) statistics, which show the Israeli war crimes against humanity, during the current Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, based on the reliable data reported by the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza:

By July 10, 2025, the initial death toll of Palestinians who have been killed by the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza Strip is 71,166+.   

This includes the accounted for deaths (57,762) and those who are still missing under the rubble (an estimate of at least 13,404+). 

By July 10, 2025, the documented injuries exceeded 137,656.

By July 10, 2025, according to news report, 998 Palestinians who were killed, 6,926 who were injured, and 12,637*, who were abducted by Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank, since October 7, 2023.

On February 26, 2025, the Palestinian Center for Political and Development Studies announced that the number of the missing in the Gaza Strip has exceeded 14,000 people, including 2,000-3,000 held in Israeli occupation prisons, without releasing any information on their fate.

"وَمَنْ يَقْتُلْ مُؤْمِنًا مُّتَعَمِّدًا فَجَزَاؤُهُ جَهَنَّمُ خَالِدًا فِيهَا وَغَضِبَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَلَعَنَهُ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُ عَذَابًا عَظِيمًا" (النِّسَاءُ ، 4: 93).

"إِنْ أَحْسَنتُمْ أَحْسَنتُمْ لِأَنفُسِكُمْ ۖ وَإِنْ أَسَأْتُمْ فَلَهَا ۚ فَإِذَا جَاءَ وَعْدُ الْآخِرَةِ لِيَسُوءُوا وُجُوهَكُمْ وَلِيَدْخُلُوا الْمَسْجِدَ كَمَا دَخَلُوهُ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ وَلِيُتَبِّرُوا مَا عَلَوْا تَتْبِيراً ‎(الإسْرَاءُ ، 17: 7).

"Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul, unless for a soul, or for corruption in the land, it is as if he had killed humankind entirely" (The Holy Quran, Al-Ma-ida, 5: 32).

"And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him, and has cursed him, and has prepared for him a great torment" (Al-Nisa, 4: 93).

"If you do good, you do good for yourselves; and if you do evil, (you do it) to yourselves. Then, when the latter (final) promise came, they (your enemies) will sadden your faces, and to enter the Masjid (in Jerusalem), as they entered it the first time, and will destroy what they had taken over with (total) destruction (Al-Isra, 17: 7).

While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

 After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

Gaza death toll surges to 57,762 amid ongoing Israeli genocide

GAZA, July 10, 2025 (WAFA) –

At least 82 Palestinians were killed and 247 others were injured in the Gaza Strip over the last 24 hours, as a result of the ongoing Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.

Local health authorities confirmed that the Palestinian death toll from the Israeli onslaught since October 2023 has risen to 57,762 fatalities, with an additional 137,656 people sustaining injuries. The majority of the victims are women and children.

According to the Ministry, the death toll since Israel’s resumption of the genocide on March 18 after a two-month truce has also climbed to 7,200, in addition to 25,615 others injured.

Emergency services are still unable to reach many casualties and dead bodies trapped under the rubble or scattered on roads across the war-torn enclave, as Israeli occupation forces continue to target ambulance and civil defense crews, according to the health authorities.

Israel's genocidal onslaught continues undeterred despite calls from the United Nations Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.

At least 16 Palestinians, including 10 children, killed in relentless Israeli strikes in Dair El-Bal'ah

At least 16 Palestinians, including 10 children, were killed and others wounded early Thursday when Israeli warplanes bombed a crowd gathered to receive nutritional supplements for children in Dair El-Bala'h, central Gaza, according to local sources.

The attack targeted an area near the Tayara roundabout, where families had assembled amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the besieged enclave.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel’s military offensive on Gaza has killed at least 57,860 Palestinians—most of them women and children—and injured more than 137,400 others. Thousands remain trapped under rubble or stranded in the streets, as emergency crews face insurmountable obstacles in reaching them due to the relentless bombardment.

'Hamas condemns Dair El-Bala'h massacre, calls for urgent global action to halt Gaza genocide

The 'Hamas Movement has condemned “the brutal airstrike by the fascist Israeli occupation army that targeted a line of women waiting to receive food supplements for their children in Dair El-Bala'h, central Gaza Strip.” The attack killed 15 women and children and injured dozens more, marking another horrific crime in the ongoing campaign of systematic extermination in Gaza.

In a statement released Thursday, 'Hamas accused the Netanyahu government of escalating its deadly massacres against innocent civilians in schools, streets, displacement tents, and civilian centers. The Movement described these actions as systematic ethnic cleansing, carried out openly and without regard for international law or human rights.

'Hamas renewed its urgent call to the international community, the United Nations and its agencies, as well as Arab and Islamic nations, demanding immediate intervention to stop the ongoing genocide of the Palestinian people. It emphasized the need to lift the blockade on Gaza, allow humanitarian aid to reach civilians, and hold the leaders of the Israeli regime accountable for crimes against humanity.

Israeli occupation forces shelled a crowd primarily composed of women and children waiting in line for food supplements in Dair El-Bala'h on Thursday morning. Local sources confirmed that an Israeli warplane directly bombed the queue near Al-Tayara roundabout amid widespread famine.

The massacre claimed the lives of 15 Palestinians, including eight children and two women, with many others wounded, deepening the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza.

Seven Palestinians killed, including aid seekers, in continued Israeli strikes on Gaza

GAZA, July 10, 2025 (WAFA) –

Seven Palestinians were killed and several others injured on Thursday as Israeli military attacks continued across various areas of the Gaza Strip.

WAFA correspondents reported that three civilians were killed and others wounded after being targeted by Israeli gunfire while waiting for humanitarian aid in the northwestern area of Gaza City. The bodies and wounded were transferred to Al-Shifa Medical Complex.

In a separate incident, two more Palestinians were killed and several injured when an Israeli strike hit the rooftop of a residential home in the Al-Sham’a area of the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, east of Gaza City.

Another Palestinian was killed and several others wounded in Khan Younus, in the western part of the Strip, when Israeli drones bombed the city.

According to field reports, the drones targeted a tent sheltering displaced families in the town of Al-Qarara, northwest of Khan Younus, resulting in the killing of one Palestinian and injuries to others.

Additionally, Israeli drones struck Dair El-Bala'h in central Gaza, killing at least one. Israeli warplanes also bombed a home in the Al-Tuffa'h neighborhood in eastern Gaza City.

Eight Palestinians were killed on Thursday afternoon as a result of Israeli airstrikes targeting two separate areas in Gaza City.

WAFA correspondents reported that four civilians were killed when Israeli warplanes struck a group of people on Al-Wi'hda Street, near Al-Zahraa School, in the central part of Gaza City.

Another four people were killed in a separate Israeli airstrike that targeted a group of civilians near Al-Karama Towers in the northwestern part of the city.

Eight Palestinian civilians killed, dozens injured in Israeli strikes in Gaza and Khan Younus

GAZA, July 10, 2025 (WAFA) – 

Israeli forces continued their deadly offensive on the Gaza Strip on Thursday, killing at least eight Palestinians, including a young girl, and injuring dozens more in separate attacks on Gaza City and Khan Younus.

According to local sources, four people, among them a child, lost their lives when Israeli warplanes bombed a group of civilians near Salahuddeen Mosque in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast Gaza City.

In a separate attack, three more Palestinians were killed when an Israeli airstrike targeted a residential apartment near the 'Haidar Square in central Gaza City.

One Palestinian was killed and several were wounded by Israeli gunfire southwest of Khan Younus in southern Gaza.

Simultaneously, dozens of civilians, including displaced families, suffered from tear gas inhalation after Israeli forces fired gas canisters toward camps and displacement areas near the Turkish slaughterhouse west of the city.

Medical sources reported that since dawn Thursday, at least 31 Palestinians have been killed across the Gaza Strip, including 14 in Dair El-Bala'h, as Israel’s aggression on the besieged enclave continues.

Five Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrike on northern Gaza

Five Palestinians from the Al-Batran family were killed and others injured on Thursday following an Israeli airstrike targeting a location in northern Gaza.

WAFA correspondents reported that the Israeli military struck the Al-Zarqa area in the town of Jabalya, north of the Gaza Strip, leading to the murder of five civilians from the same family.

Medical sources confirmed the fatalities and added that a number of others were injured in the attack.

Since early Thursday morning, 74 Palestinians have been reported killed in ongoing air raids throughout the besieged Strip, according to health officials.

Journalist Ahmad Abu Aisha killed in Israeli airstrike west of Al-Nusayrat

Journalist Ahmad Abu Aisha was killed Thursday evening in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a group of civilians in the Al-Sawari'ha area, west of Al-Nusayrat refugee camp in central Gaza.

The PIC correspondent reported that colleague A'hmed Abu 'Aisha, who worked for Palestine Today news agency, was martyred in an attack that struck a gathering of civilians in Al-Nusayrat.

With the killing of journalist Abu 'Aisha, the number of journalists killed since the start of the genocidal war on Gaza has risen to 229.

The Palestinian Journalists Protection Center (PJPC) condemned the killing of journalist Ahmad Abu Aisha in an Israeli airstrike on the Al-Sawari'ha area, west of Al-Nusayrat refugee camp.

PJPC said that Abu Aisha, who worked as an editor at Palestine Today, had been documenting the massacres of civilians in Gaza for more than 21 months.

The center added that the Israeli army killed Abu 'Aisha alongside Ma'hmoud Abu Darbi, Ma'hmoud Zaqout, and Mu'hammed Sultan during this month alone.

The center stressed that the United Nations and the international community must act immediately to stop the targeting of journalists and to prevent the use of military force to obstruct their professional and journalistic work.

Along the same line, the Government Media Office called for urgent international and human rights pressure to protect journalists and media workers in Gaza and to stop the crime of killing and assassinating them.

This came in a statement issued in response to the killing of journalist A'hmed Salama Abu 'Aisha, a photojournalist and editor at Palestine Today, who was directly targeted by Israeli drone strikes today in front of his home in the Al-Sawariha area, west of Al-Nusayrat refugee camp.

The Office held the Israeli occupation, the US administration, and countries complicit in the genocide, such as the United Kingdom, Germany, and France, fully responsible for these heinous and brutal crimes.

The statement called on the International Federation of Journalists, the Federation of Arab Journalists, and all journalist bodies worldwide to condemn these systematic crimes against Palestinian journalists and media professionals in Gaza.

It further urged the international community, international organizations, and entities concerned with journalism and media globally to condemn Israel’s crimes, restrain its actions, pursue it in international courts, and bring Israeli war criminals to justice.

Journalists Syndicate: Killing of journalist Ahmad Abu Eisha a new crime in Israel’s war on truth

GAZA, July 10, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Palestinian Journalists Syndicate has condemned the Israeli occupation’s killing of journalist Ahmad Abu Eisha, correspondent for Palestine Today TV, in a drone attack in the Gaza Strip, calling it a deliberate and criminal act by the Israeli occupation aimed at silencing the truth.

In a statement issued Wednesday, the syndicate said that Abu Eisha was directly targeted by Israeli drone fire while standing in front of his home west of Al-Nusayrat refugee camp in central Gaza. He was killed instantly in a "clear and deliberate crime against an unarmed journalist fulfilling his professional and national duty."

The syndicate accused Israel of pursuing a calculated policy of targeting journalists and media institutions in direct violation of international humanitarian law, which guarantees protection for media professionals in conflict zones.

It called for urgent international action and urged the International Criminal Court to hold Israeli leaders accountable for crimes against journalists. “Palestinian journalists have become targets simply for doing their job — conveying the truth to the world,” the statement said.

The genocide continues

The Israeli occupation’s genocidal war, with full US support, has so far, according to the Ministry of Health, resulted in more than 57,680 martyrs, 137,409 wounded, and over 11,000 missing persons, amid famine claiming dozens of lives and over two million Palestinians living in conditions of forced displacement amid widespread destruction.

Since Israel reneged on a ceasefire agreement on March 18, 2025, 7,118 martyrs and 25,368 injuries have been recorded.

Since May 27, when Israel turned limited aid distribution points into death traps, approximately 773 martyrs, over 5,101 wounded, and 39 missing persons have been recorded, with the controversial “Gaza Humanitarian Foundation”—an ”Israeli-American project rejected by the UN—used as a tool to impose surrender under the guise of humanitarian aid.

The occupation forces have killed 1,581 medical personnel, 115 civil defense workers, 220 aid security personnel, and 754 policemen and aid workers.

The Israeli occupation forces shoot dead two Palestinians south of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem)

The Israeli occupation forces on Thursday shot dead two Palestinians south of the occupied West Bank city of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

The Ministry announced that it was informed by the Civil Affairs Authority that the Israeli occupation forces opened fire at Ma'hmoud 'Aabid, 23, from 'Hal'houl and Malik Salim, 23, from Al-Beezariya village, northwest of Nablus, killing them.

It added that the Israeli occupation forces were holding the bodies of 'Aabid and Salim.

The Israeli occupation forces said that 'Aabid and Salim were gunned down allegedly after they had carried out a combined shooting and stabbing attack near the illegal Israeli settlement of Gush Etzion, established on Palestinian-owned land to the south of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), resulting in the killing of a settler.

Following the alleged attack, the Israeli occupation forces have tightened movement restrictions around 'Hal'houl, setting up roadblocks.

Palestinian man killed by the Israeli occupation forces near Jineen

Jineen, July 10, 2025 (WAFA) –

A Palestinian citizen from the town of Rummana, west of Jineen, was killed Thursday morning by Israeli occupation forces.

Local sources said that the Israeli occupation forces executed A'hmed Al-'Umour after shooting him with live ammunition and then ran him over with an Israeli military vehicle, and then withheld his body. They added that the Israeli occupation forces detained Al-'Umour's sons.

The Israeli occupation forces stormed the town and raided a large number of homes, destroying their contents.

They also deployed sniper teams in the town, amid a high level of mobilization by Israeli occupation soldiers, and launched a large-scale arrest campaign in the town.

With Al-'Umour's killing, the number of slain Palestinians in Jineen Governorate since the start of the Israeli aggression on the city of Jineen on January 21st has risen to 41.

The Israeli occupation forces have intensified the raids on towns and villages in the Jineen Governorate since the start of the aggression on the city and refugee camp 171 days ago. They raided citizens' homes, vandalized their contents, and launched detention and field interrogation campaigns against citizens, detaining a number of them.

Three Palestinians sustain injuries in colonists’ attack near Nablus

NABLUS, July 10, 2025 (WAFA) –

Three Palestinians on Thursday sustained injuries in a colonists’ attack close to Al-Mas'oudiyya area, northwest of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS).

Spokesperson for the PRCS, A'hmed Jibreel, said that the PRCS crew provided first aid treatment to three Palestinians after the latter were attacked by Israeli colonists in the area.

The settler violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities.

The settler violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and attacks on vulnerable homes, among others.

Approximately 1 million illegal Israeli settlers are living in colonies in the West Bank and Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) in violation of international law.

Palestinian injured in an assault by colonists south of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem)

Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), July 10, 2025 (WAFA) –

A Palestinian youth sustained injuries and bruises on Thursday after being assaulted by Israeli colonists from the illegal Gush Etzion settlement, built on Palestinian land south of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem).

Palestinian security sources told WAFA that a group of the illegal Israeli settlers attacked a laborer from the town of Sa’ir, north of Al-Khaleel (Hebron), while he was working in the area. The colonists beat him severely, causing multiple bruises and wounds.

The injured man was transferred to a hospital in Bait La'hm (Bethlehem) for medical treatment. His condition was reported as stable.

Attacks by the illegal Israeli settlers on Palestinian civilians and workers in the occupied West Bank have been on the rise, often occurring under the protection of Israeli forces.

 IOFs kidnap father of one of the attackers in Gush Etzion

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) kidnapped on Thursday evening the father of martyr Mahmoud Abed, one of the two Palestinians involved in the Gush Etzion stabbing and shooting attack earlier in the day that resulted in the killing of an Israeli soldier.

A large Israeli occupation army force stormed the town of 'Hal'houl from multiple directions, raided the home of martyr Ma'hmoud 'Aabid’s family, fired numerous stun grenades and tear gas canisters, and kidnapped his father, Yousuf, before withdrawing.

The IOF also imposed a curfew on the village of Bazariya, northwest of Nablus.

Tayseer Frasin, head of the Bazariya village council, said that Israeli forces stormed the village, imposed a curfew, assaulted residents, and raided several homes.

He added that the IOF conducted a field investigation with the family of martyr Malik Salim, who was declared killed earlier in the day south of Bethlehem.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced in a statement that the General Authority for Civil Affairs had informed it of the martyrdom of two young men: Mahmoud Youssef Mohammed Abed, 23, and Malik Ibraheem Abdul Jabbar Salim, 23, after Israeli forces shot them south of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem).

The Israeli army said in a statement that two Palestinians arrived at the Gush Etzion settlement and carried out a shooting and stabbing attack, resulting in the injury of an Israeli soldier who was later pronounced dead.

The statement added, “Israeli army forces and other security personnel at the scene shot and killed them.”

For its part, Magen David Adom reported that a 20-year-old Israeli soldier was critically injured in the attack before later succumbing to his wounds.

The Israeli Army Radio explained that the deceased was working as a security guard at the shopping complex where the attack occurred, while the Hebrew newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported that his name was Shalio Zvuloni, 22, a reservist in the Israeli army.

Occupation forces storm neighborhood Jenin, raid home

The Israeli occupation forces stormed the Al-Hadaf neighborhood in Jineen city at dawn on Thursday and raided homes.

Local sources said that the occupation forces stormed the neighborhood with a large number of infantry units, raided and searched homes, and destroyed their belongings. They also flew drones over the area.

They also detained and interrogated a large number of young men, amid the sound of live ammunition.

Israeli occupation bulldozers continued demolishing homes in Jineen refugee camp on Wednesday, as part of a plan to demolish more than 100 homes, which the occupation announced in early June.

The aggression on Jineen city and refugee camp has entered its 170th day, killing 41 Palestinians, leaving dozens detained, and approximately 22,000 displaced from inside and around the refugee camp.

An illegal Israeli settler attacks village in northern Jordan Valley, carries out provocations

An illegal Israeli settler launched an attack on Thursday on the village of Khirbet Al-Farisiyah area in the northern Jordan Valley, engaging in provocative actions against local residents.

Local sources reported that a colonist from the illegal Israeli settlement of Rotem stormed the Ahmir area of Khirbet Al-Farisiyah, roaming among the tents of Palestinian families. The colonist reportedly poured out water from tanks used for livestock and stole animal feed.

Residents described the attack as part of an ongoing pattern of daily harassment. These include assaults on homes, intimidation of residents, chasing shepherds from their grazing lands, and theft or harm to livestock.

Illegal Israeli settlers assault Palestinian woman in Al-Khaleel (Hebron)l, destroy vital water line in Nablus

A Palestinian woman was injured Thursday morning after a group of armed Israeli settlers attacked residents in Al-Tibyan and Fakhit areas of Masafir Yatta, south of Al-Khaleel (Hebron) in the southern occupied West Bank. Local sources confirmed the settlers assaulted multiple residents, leaving the woman wounded.

In a separate but related act of sabotage, settlers used a bulldozer at dawn Thursday to destroy a critical water pipeline between the villages of Aqraba and Majdal Bani Fadhil, south of Nablus. The pipeline served at least seven surrounding villages, including Jorish, Qusra, Qaryout, Jaloud, Douma, Talfeet, and Majdal Bani Fadhil. The destruction of this essential infrastructure deepens the humanitarian crisis facing Palestinian communities already under siege.

Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) began bulldozing large sections of privately owned Palestinian land in the town of Teqou’, southeast of Bethlehem, to construct a new settlement road. Accompanied by heavy machinery, the IOFs targeted lands belonging to the Al-'Asakira, Al-Zeer, and Jibreen families in the Qanan Saqr and Fasoura areas.

Local residents fear the road project will lead to the seizure of thousands of dunums under the pretext of “securing the road,” reinforcing a broader Israeli policy of annexation and Judaization.

The town of Teqou’ is already subject to movement restrictions imposed by seven iron gates placed at its entrances and within neighborhoods, effectively isolating large parts of the town and limiting access to nearby villages.

Daily settler attacks continue across the West Bank, with the clear aim of forcibly displacing Palestinians and expanding illegal settlement infrastructure. Since the onset of the Israeli genocide in the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, settler groups have carried out more than 5,000 attacks and established 80 new outposts on Palestinian land in the West Bank.

These acts of aggression are part of a wider, systemic campaign of ethnic cleansing and land theft, carried out in parallel with the ongoing genocide in Gaza.

Security sources told WAFA that a bulldozer belonging to the settlers destroyed a water pipeline between the villages of 'Aqraba and Majdal, which supplies the villages of Jurish, Qusra, Qaryout, Jaloud, Douma, Talfeet, and Majdal Bani Fadhil.

Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) launched large-scale bulldozing operations Thursday in the town of Teqou’, southeast of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), to construct a new settlement road—marking yet another escalation in the ongoing annexation and Judaization of the West Bank.

Local sources reported that IOFs, accompanied by bulldozers and heavy machinery, stormed the areas of Qanan Saqir and Fasoura and began razing land belonging to the Al-'Asakira, Al-Zeer, and Jibreen families. The planned road is expected to result in the confiscation of thousands of additional dunums under the pretext of “securing” settler movement.

Residents and activists warn that this project is part of a broader plan to expand settler infrastructure while permanently altering the area’s geography. The move comes as part of a long-standing policy of land theft, accelerated under the cover of the ongoing genocide in Gaza.

Sources also reported that settlers, backed by the IOF, have already seized more than 20,000 dunums of land around Teqou’ for pastoral colonization. This wave of land grabs is being carried out with near-total impunity, as the IOF continues to provide protection for settlers and facilitates the displacement of Palestinian landowners.

Meanwhile, the IOFs imposed a severe movement lockdown in Teqou’, erecting seven iron gates at key junctions within the town. These barriers isolate neighborhoods from one another and cut residents off from nearby villages, further restricting daily life and deepening the town’s fragmentation.

Teqou’, situated on the southeastern edge of the Bait La'hm (Bethlehem) governorate, has faced years of expanding settlement activity and land seizures. The latest road project is seen as part of an effort to sever geographical continuity between Palestinian communities in the area, reinforcing Israel’s control and undermining any future territorial integrity for a Palestinian state.

Macron calls for joint French-British recognition of Palestine as path to peace

LONDON, July 10, 2025 (WAFA) –

French President Emmanuel Macron on Thursday called for a joint recognition of the State of Palestine by France and the United Kingdom, describing it as "the only path that leads to a prospect of peace."

Speaking at a joint press conference with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer in London, Macron emphasized the urgency of advancing a two-state solution.

“I believe in the future of the two-state solution and in the need to unify our voices in Paris, London, and beyond to recognize the State of Palestine and launch this political dynamic that alone can lead to a horizon of peace,” Macron stated, according to Euronews.

For his part, Prime Minister Starmer reaffirmed the UK’s commitment to achieving a just political settlement to the Palestinian issue. He stressed the importance of international support for the Palestinian people and the need for comprehensive peace and stability in the region.

The statements came at the conclusion of Macron’s three-day state visit to the United Kingdom, which included a bilateral summit focused on strategic issues such as Franco-British relations, European security, military cooperation, and key regional and international developments.
